Terms & Policies

 

The following is a list of our terms and policies.  You will receive a copy of this information as your contract and will be required to sign and return upon booking event.  Please read everything thoroughly to ensure there are no misunderstandings regarding what we do or what is expected of you to make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible:

1.Events should be scheduled at least two weeks prior to your party date.  A deposit of $100.00 or $150.00 depends on the package you pick which is NON-REFUNDABLE and required to hold your date.  Deposit can be made with a personal check or money order by mail.  We hold your date for FIVE days in wait of its arrival.  A contract will be sent to you upon receiving your deposit.  The remaining balance is due when I arrive to set-up and must be in CASH NO EXCEPTION.

2.Confirmation of a final guest count will need to be given 5 days prior to the party.  This number will determine food, favor and supply amount for the party.  If a guest call the evening before the event and says they can now come, unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate them.

3.Our parties are designed for UP TO TEN GIRLS.  We cannot go over this number for a few reasons, mainly due to supplies and the inability to make the party as specialized if there are too many guests.  You may have any number less than ten, but please note that this will not change your basic package rate.  Eight is a great number that allow the girls a bit more individualized time on activities.

4.Parties are 1 to 2 hours depending on package you select.  I will arrive 1hr to 1hr 30min before scheduled party time to set up and will require 45 min to breakdown after the party.

5.Please leave some space for us to park near an entrance where we will not be blocked in.  We would appreciate easy access as we have a lot of heavy items to carry into your party.

6.Please remove all large pets from the party area prior to our arrival.

7.I suggest that the birthday girl and guest arrive no more than 10min prior to the party start time.  I appreciate your consideration and understanding.

8.Our parties are based on a schedule; they work best when all guest arrive on time.  Those guests coming late may join the party at whatever point it has progressed to.  FOR EXAMPLE: The group has already completed the make-up session and has moved on to dress up.  The late guest must skip the make-up and join in the dress up.  This is necessary in order to provide the least amount of disruption to the party.  Your understanding is appreciated.

9.This is a high-energy party with make-up, dress up, photo taking, crafts, and lots of movement.  If there is ample room without interference we welcome parents or provide an area for them to congregate in.  PLEASE to ensure YOUR DAUGHTER’S event runs as you’d like it to, kindly ask parents to be “specters” and leave the direction of the party to us.

10. Guest who do not wish to participate will need to be attended by you.  We are  responsible for hosting your party and engaging the guests in a constant activity.  Good behavior is always promoted, but it is your responsibility to monitor and take charge if a child is not behaving, becomes ill or does not wish to participate.

11. All guests under three years of age must be supervised.  We provide many accessories that contain small parts at our parties and they may not be appropriate for very small guests.  Please remember that our party package cover only the guest of honor and their guests.  Unfortunately, we will not be able accommodate unexpected guests or siblings of guests, as we prepare our parties based on final head count given to us prior to the party.  Siblings (of any age) who are not guest of the birthday girl will not be permitted to use any equipment.

12. If a guest should become ill or simply not show up, there will be NO REFUNDS given.  The party is priced as a package, not per individual.

13. If you must cancel your party for any reason, the following refund policy applies: We will be unable to refund your deposit.  If you need to reschedule, we will gladly offer and alternative party date for your consideration.  In the event of inclement weather, serious illness, or other unforeseen emergencies, we reserve the right to cancel any event and offer an alternative party date.

14. Client Obligations: Provide a safe and clean area for activities.  Provide gathering place for parents of guests who wish to stay.  Provide a smoke-free environment.

15. The Pink Palace is not responsible for allergic reactions to wearing any costumes or consuming any food or beverages before, during, or after the party.  It is the responsibility of the guest and/or guests’ parent or guardian to inform the client of any dietary restrictions.

16. The Pink Palace assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages caused during your party.  Your party host will work to ensure that your home and guest are treated in the most respectable manner.

Our Party length is typically 1 1/2 hours.Some Parties are 2hr depend on the package you pick. Parties can be upgraded to include more time for an extra charge of $50.00 per half hour,not including any costs for extra activities. We do not include gift opening in the party time scheduled. If you'd like to add time to your event on the invitation so that your daughter may open her gifts with her guests we will be happy to do so,just let us know before the day of the event. Please note that you will be responsible for orchestrating this part of the event. Any extra time added to open gifts is something we will not participate in unless we are contracted to do so at the extra $50.00 per half hour rate. You can oversee this while  we are doing our cleanup if you'd like that time added so there is no charge to you.
